How to Measure Your Foot
To ensure the best fit, follow these steps to measure your foot accurately:
Gather Supplies: You’ll need a piece of paper, a pen or pencil, and a ruler.
Prepare the Paper: Place the paper on a flat, hard surface like the floor. Secure it with tape to prevent slipping.
Trace Your Foot: While wearing the type of socks you plan to wear with the shoes, stand on the paper and trace the outline of your foot. Hold the pen perpendicular to the paper for accuracy.
Measure Length and Width:
- Length: Use the ruler to measure the distance from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
- Width: Measure the widest part of your foot.
Repeat for Other Foot: It’s common for one foot to be slightly larger. Use the measurements of the larger foot when selecting your shoe size.
Tip: Measure your feet at the end of the day when they are most swollen to ensure a comfortable fit throughout the day.
